WHAT WE FUND

As the downside effects of COVID-19 are felt across economies, in addition to the devastating impact on citizen health and well being, we are adjusting to the new normal of what a post COVID-19 environment would look like for the legions of students and young adults in the communities that we serve.

The HRF Digital Learning grant will provide up to $150 per year for successful applicants that are eager to pursue digital learning opportunities that are targeted at up-skilling, continuing education, industry certification or career development outcomes.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants can submit their interests for the 2020 HRF Digital Learning Grant using the application form below. Our Grant Committee will present ten (10) grant awards per fiscal year.

SELECTION CRITERIA

On a rolling basis, our Grant Committee will accept and review DLG applications from qualified candidates. The selection criteria for successful candidates will include:

PHASE I

  1. Formal submission of DLG Application including CV/Resume attachment.

  2. Application review and interview process.

  3. Document review and due diligence.

  4. Mentor matching.

PHASE II

Following the Mentor matching process, eligible applicants will proceed with the following steps:

  1. Signed certification statement that agrees to completing the program.

  2. Service provider selection and registration.

  3. Program enrollment.

  4. Weekly academic progress reports.

  5. Program completion and certification.
