HRF NEEDS BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

As we continue to seek the advancements in education and innovation across the communities that we serve, we acknowledge the economic hardships and societal challenges that are faced by some students and families within our communities.

The HRF Need Based academic scholarships are awarded to those who demonstrate academic merit and high financial need that could have been triggered by unfortunate life circumstances. Our annual scholarships will provide up to $500 per year for successful applicants that demonstrate academic merit and lack sustainable financial privilege. Scholarship recipients may apply their awards towards pursing education from kindergarten to collegiate levels.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants can submit their interests for the HRF Needs Based Scholarship using the application form below. Our Grant Committee will present five (5) scholarship awards per fiscal year.

SELECTION CRITERIA

On a rolling basis, our Grant Committee will accept and review NBS applications from qualified candidates. The selection criteria for successful candidates will include:

PHASE I

  1. Formal submission of NBS Application including Needs based letter for financial assistance.

  2. Application review and interview process.

  3. Document review and due diligence.

PHASE II

Following the Document review process, eligible applicants will proceed with the following steps:

  1. Signed certification statement and scholarship acceptance letters that agree to compliance with defined guidelines.

  2. Proof of enrollment and tuition review.

  3. Award recipient’s bank information (including bank statement).

  4. Monthly academic progress reports.


NBS Application

Qualified applicants for the HRF NBS should fill out the application form below. In addition, applicants should submit a formal letter addressed to the HRF Grant Committee indicating their need for financial assistance as well as their academic merit.
